FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q. How much is OAP membership?
A. It depends on which membership you wish to purchase.
A single standard membership, which doesn't include Britford (River Avon) will cost only £27.00
A membership plus Britford Coarse fishing season permit will cost £37.00
You will need to email a proof of age (over 65) to firstname.lastname@example.org to receive a discount code which you can use at the checkout.
This discount scheme also applies to Registered disabled.
Q. How much is Junior membership?
A. Under 12's can fish with a member for free, but a free junior form must be completed which you can get from the office at email@example.com
Junior membership tickets cost £25.00, application forms for which can be obtained from the office.
Q. Can I bring my wife/partner along to enjoy the waterside?
A. You must purchase a companion ticket with your order. EVERYONE on our fisheries must be members. This is part of some waters' lease agreements, as everyone must be covered under our insurance.
Q. Can I look around a specific private fishery before joining?
A. Unfortunately, you must be a member to enter any of our non-public access fisheries, which covers you in our insurance. In the case of Bures Lake and Stollies Lake, you may enter with a member following the purchase of an £8 guest ticket, which will entitle you to fish. Please contact the office for more information.
Q. Are day tickets available?
A. Currently, Britford has day tickets available from the bank at £10 per day for seniors and £5.00 per day for juniors, OAP's and Registered Disabled. You will find that full season membership is always the best value.
Q. Can I include my brother/best mate on a partner membership – or must it only be my spouse?
A. A partner membership can only include two people co-habiting at the same address, irrespective of gender.
